The show is timely with Spring’s arrival as lively works emerge from the walls and metal figures seem to dance across the floor. Tomaszewski’s dramatic sculptures can be found in museums and collections around the world. His work is a reaction to “over-intellectualized” modern art and its loss of emotion and mood. His goal is to broaden the strength of perception, always looking for beauty. He has pioneered this spirit into an artists group known as “The Emotionalists”. There will be an Opening Reception on Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:00pm. The artists will be present. This event is brought forth for “Saturday Studios” when all galleries on Main Street will be open and welcoming friends and visitors. This exhibition will run through May 13, 2008.
